Naomi graduated from the University of Manchester with an undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences and the University of Leeds with a masters degree in Biodiversity and Conservation. Since graduating she has volunteered in Malawi and Australia researching bats and has gained a wide variety of working experience within the environmental sector. She is now a skilled ecologist with experience assisting and delivering successful projects in a variety of sectors, such as renewable energy, waterways, and business and residential. Notable projects include the UK’s largest permitted solar application and the UK’s largest ever T&C planning application. Naomi has both technical and project management skills, holds a Level 1 great crested newt licence, and is proficient in the use of GIS. Furthermore, she has a specific interest in botany and volunteers for the local badger group monitoring local badger setts and collecting evidence to support the prosecution of wildlife crime. Naomi loves the outdoors and anything to do with wildlife!
